In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Lori Trail, age 39 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of driving under the influence, violation of the prohibition law, and destruction of property by a prisoner.

Billy Turner, age 25 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of transmitting obscene material to a child.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 83 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
