On Friday, April 17, 2026, at approximately 10:51 PM, the Piedmont Police Department received a call regarding a missing juvenile. Officers responded immediately to the residence, where they tragically discovered a deceased juvenile inside the home.
As a result of the investigation, another juvenile has been taken into custody and charged with Murder.
Police Chief Nathan Johnson said, This is an active and ongoing investigation. Due to the nature of the case and the involvement of juveniles, no further details can be released at this time.
