In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Kenneth Ballard, age 48 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Celisa Ballard, age 45 of Silver Creek, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Brittany Ezell, age 28 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 3rd degree escape, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Dakota Thomas, age 25 of Guntersville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 86 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
