Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Releases September Patrol Division Report

Etowah County – The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has released its Patrol Division activity report for the month of September, highlighting the department’s continued efforts to maintain safety across nearly 550 square miles of the county.

During September, deputies responded to 371 calls for service and took 118 incident reports. The division made 28 arrests, cleared 14 arrest warrants, and conducted multiple traffic stops, resulting in 11 citations or warnings issued.

Deputies also performed 1,012 nightly business checks and responded to 29 animal-related calls. Civil process activity remained steady, with 3,411 civil papers and 34 eviction notices served during the month.

In addition, the Patrol Division completed 34 transports, covering a total of 3,183 miles for doctor’s appointments, hospital visits, and prison transfers.

Sheriff’s officials commended the deputies for their professionalism and ongoing commitment to serving and protecting the residents of Etowah County.
