Martha “Marty” Day Lowe, age 83 of Centre, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Erlanger Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at East Centre Baptist Church with Bro. Chip Smith officiating. There will also be a memorial service held in Indiana.
Ms. Lowe is survived by her son, Kevin Lowe (Tammy); daughter, Lisa Lowe Wright (Scott); brother, Joe Smelser (Lisa); brother-in-laws, Alton Lowe (Reba), Warren Lowe (Jan), Direl Price Jr.; sister-in-laws, Ginger Lowe, Jennie Henry (Richard); granddaughters, Ashley Farmer (Brock) and Grace Wright (Austin Boardman); 2 great grandsons and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Ledford Lowe; daughter, Theresa Ann Lowe; brother, Gary Day; brother-in-law, Gordon Lowe; sister-in-laws, Sharon Price, Debra Whitesell (Chris).
Ms. Lowe was a native of New Castle, IN and the Daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Day. She was a member of East Centre Baptist Church. She had many talents including painting, sewing, crocheting, quilting and even golf. There is no doubt that she will be missed by all who knew her.
