Euell Martin Adams, age 89, of the Black Creek Community passed away on August 15, 2025 surrounded by the family he loved so much.
Mr. Adams was a lifelong dedicated member of Black Creek Baptist Church. He served his Lord as a Sunday School Director, Teacher, Trustee, various other positions and committees in the church. He was lovingly known as Granddaddy to many.
Granddaddy was a talented master carpenter, cattle farmer, devoted son, husband, father, granddaddy, and great-granddaddy who fiercely loved the Lord, his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 6:00PM at Black Creek Baptist Church, 244 Black Creek Road with Bro. Chris Connell officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30PM until the time of service. There will be a graveside service at 10:00AM Monday morning.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearer is longtime friend, Arlon Childers.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Dean Hall Adams, and parents, Herbert and Ruth Martin Adams.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Kay) Adams; daughters, Terry (Billy) Sharpe and Jerri (Chris) Thrower; grandchildren, Holli (Reggie) Lang, Seth (Jennifer) Adams, Paden (Dianna) Sharpe, Logan (Rebekah) Sharpe, Noah (Kaitlyn) Thrower, Emily Thrower and Fiancé Mark Woeber; great-grandchildren, Gavin Lang, Sylas Adams, Sawyer Adams, Easton Sharpe, Tag Sharpe, Collyn Jane Sharpe, Murphy Kate Sharpe, and Bodie Lane Thrower; special friend, Louise Mullican; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Cherokee Village Special Care Assisted Living and Collinsville Healthcare and Rehab for their loving care to our Dad and Granddaddy.
