Gadsden Man Arrested on 50 Counts of Child Pornography Possession
GADSDEN, Ala. — A 52-year-old Gadsden man has been arrested and charged with 50 counts of possession of child pornography following a coordinated investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
Brian Scott Lipscomb was taken into custody without incident after authorities executed a search and arrest warrant at his residence. He is currently being held at the Etowah County Jail on a $1 million bond.
The Gadsden Police Department said the arrest is the result of a joint effort with the Oxford Police Department and the East Metro Area Crime Center. Investigators credited the collaboration between agencies as a critical factor in moving the case forward.
“This is an ongoing investigation, and additional charges are expected,” police said in a statement.
Authorities have not released further details about the content or scope of the material allegedly found in Lipscomb’s possession.

“On the morning of May 9, 2025, members of the Etowah County Etowah County Joint Special Operations Group executed a search and arrest warrant at the residence of Brian Scott Lipscomb. Lipscomb was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.He is charged with 50 counts of possession of child pornography.
