In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Aja Gipson, age 34 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of domestic violence-3^rd degree assault.

Brandon Sullins, age 33 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of domestic violence-3^rd degree assault.

Paige McCoy, age 37 of Dawson, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of three counts of the violation of a domestic protection order.

Roger Patty, age 58 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department, on charges of tampering with evidence, two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2^nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Kimberly Funderburk, age 62 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on a charge of revoked bond.

Marcus Richardson, age 36 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2^nd degree rape and two counts of 1^st degree rape. 

Jade Pruitt, age 22 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on previous charges of driving under the influence, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2^nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Justin Smith, age 29 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges as a youthful offender.

Dusty Rogers, age 38 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on hold for another agency.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
