PIEDMONT– Energy Southeast will award four $2,500 PowerUp Scholarships to Piedmont seniors graduating in May 2027.
The City of Piedmont announced the opportunity for students whose families receive electric service from the city.
To qualify, a student’s parent or legal guardian must receive electric service from the City of Piedmont. In addition, the student must plan to attend a college, university, community college, vocational school, or trade school in Alabama.
Students may pick up applications at the City of Piedmont Administration Office, located at 109 N. Center Ave. Meanwhile, the Piedmont Utility Office at 128 S. Center Ave. also offers applications.
Applicants may also review scholarship information and apply online through Energy Southeast’s scholarship website.
Finally, Energy Southeast must receive all application materials and required attachments by Feb. 12, 2027. The organization says it will not consider incomplete applications or materials received after the deadline.
