Four-run fourth helps lift Cedar Bluff softball past Collinsville

CEDAR BLUFF – A four-run bottom of the fourth inning helped the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers take a 6-4 softball win over visiting Collinsville on Monday.

Kylie Vadon led the Lady Tigers at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and a RBI. Anna Henderson went 2-for-3 with a run.

Rylie Walker doubled, scored a run and had two RBIs. Tylee Bradford was 1-for-3 with a walk and a RBI. Ciana Smith finished with a hit.

Mackenzie Kimmons earned the win after working four innings. She gave up two unearned runs on four hits with no walks and two strikeouts.

Kaylyn Vadon tossed three innings and surrendered an earned run on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts.

Lexi Burt went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run for the Lady Panthers. Carlee Davis was 2-for-3 with a run and a RBI.

Maelee Barkley doubled, walked, scored a run and drove in one. Jemma Smith added a hit and scored a run.

Ella Coker and Bella Wills both finished with a hit. Karly Middlebrooks walked and Aubrey Reeves drove in a run.

Barkley suffered the loss after working 3 2/3 innings. She gave up a pair of earned runs on four hits with a walk and two strikeouts.

Jemma Smith tossed 2 1/3 innings. She allowed three unearned runs on four hits with a walk and a strikeout.

Cedar Bluff hosts Pleasant Valley on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Collinsville also hosts Valley Head on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
