COLLINSVILLE – Collinsville pitchers Mason McAteer and Will Edmondson combined to no-hit the Ider Hornets in area baseball action on Monday. McAteer tossed four shutout innings with six strikeouts and Edmondson finished things off with a perfect fifth with a strikeout in the Panthers’ 11-0 victory.

Edmondson also helped lead the Panthers at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance, including a home run, two runs and four RBIs. McAteer tripled, scored three times and drove in a run.

Gavin Lang went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs and three RBIs. Coleton Pettus provided a double, a walk and a RBI. Jake Middlebrooks doubled and drove in a run. Shaun Stewart had a hit and Sylas Adams finished with a walk and a run.

Collinsville travels to Geraldine on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
