“Tonight, President Donald Trump reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the American people by outlining a bold and decisive agenda that prioritizes national security, economic growth, and the protection of our borders. His leadership continues to drive historic progress for our nation, and I stand in full support of his efforts to restore American strength at home and abroad.
One of the most critical issues the President addressed is the ongoing fentanyl crisis, which has devastated families across our nation. Under President Trump’s leadership, the administration has taken decisive action to combat the flow of deadly drugs into our country, implementing tariffs on Canada and Mexico to hold them accountable for stopping the trafficking of these lethal substances. As the fentanyl epidemic continues to claim thousands of American lives, I commend the President for making this a top priority and using every tool at his disposal to protect our communities.
President Trump’s commitment to securing our borders is delivering real results. With record-low illegal crossings and the successful reinstatement of policies like ‘Remain in Mexico,’ we are witnessing a dramatic reduction in unlawful migration. Additionally, the administration’s focus on law and order has led to the extradition of multiple cartel leaders, further dismantling the criminal networks responsible for drug smuggling and human trafficking.
The President also spoke about his continued commitment to revitalizing American manufacturing and economic independence. Through historic investments and strategic tariffs, we are seeing jobs return to the U.S., ensuring that our workers and industries remain competitive on the global stage.
