WHITE PLAINS – Emma Hill allowed just two runs on four hits with a walk and 14 strikeouts in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 4-2 area softball win at White Plains on Tuesday.
Izzy Patterson and Sofie Dawson delivered at the plate for the Lady Warriors. Patterson homered in the top of the first inning and drove in three runs. Dawson finished 2-for-3.
The Lady Warriors await the winner of Thursday’s game between Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville at 7 p.m. in the Cherokee County Tournament at Cedar Bluff.
