SAND ROCK – Kailee Patterson and Aubie Camp both doubled and scored a run, but Sand Rock fell to Glencoe 14-4 in softball action on Thursday.

Macy Martin collected a hit, a walk, a run and two RBIs for Sand Rock (0-3). Aliyah King contributed a hit and a pair of walks. Peyton Johnson added a hit and a RBI. Alyvia McMichen had a hit and scored a run. Emma Sipsy finished with a hit.

Martin suffered the loss after tossing four innings. She gave up a pair of unearned runs on a hit with eight strikeouts. Sipsy worked three innings and gave up five earned runs on nine hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

Sand Rock plays in a tournament at Fort Payne on Friday and Saturday.
