Mr. William Allison Wood,  age 70 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on February 06, 2025 at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL.A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Hall officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. His brothers will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include his sister, Debra Wood; Brothers, Jeffery (Debbie) Wood and Randall (Janet) Wood; Special Friend, Jodie Bishop; Several Nieces and Nephews; Aunts, Ruby Watts and Susan (Joe) Hall; Uncle, Roy Wynn.

Mr. Wood was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late William Burdette and Jacqueline Callan Wood. He was self-employed with the tree service industry for a number of years and was a veteran of the United States Army. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses, which are available on the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home website.
