In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Steven Harp, age 33 of Talladega, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on probation revocation.

Shawn Stamper, age 45 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of community corrections AWOL.

Robert Acker, age 30 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of driving while suspended and two counts of driving under the influence.

Cecil Minyard, age 55 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Nicholas Henderson, age 41 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Felecia Satcher, age 38 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 116 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
