In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Michele Maxwell, age 51 of Henagar, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, two counts of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
Dakota Day, age 32 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, 1st degree arson, and the possession of a destructive device or weapon.
Justin Bushard, age 32 of Pinson, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation revocation and for failure to appear on a previous charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
River Borders, age 30 of Southside, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.
Brandon Davis, age 44 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Jessica Sims, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by an unlisted agency on unlisted charges.
Arrests are based upon probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 124 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
