Reid Jacoway scores game-high 29 points in Warrior basketball win at Coosa Christian

GADSDEN – Reid Jacoway netted a game-high 29 points, including four 3-pointers, in leading the Cherokee County Warriors to a 70-62 basketball win at Coosa Christian on Monday evening.

Owen Jacoway added 18 points for the Warriors (7-2), who won their seventh game in a row. Jayquan Diamond connected on a pair of treys and had 12 points. Tatum Perry netted nine points.

Kylen Johnson led the Conquerors with 24 points, including four treys. J’Alan Terry added 11 points. DJ Mackey managed seven points and Sam Reeves finished with six points.

The Warriors led at each of the quarter breaks. They held a 19-12 advantage at the end of one and built a 34-23 edge at halftime. The Warriors took a 47-39 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Cherokee County hosts Sardis on Thursday.
