GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Maggie Jarrett sank six 3-pointers and finished with 20 points in leading the Spring Garden Lady Panthers to a 51-38 victory over Upperman (Tenn.) in the Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies’ Basketball Classic on Saturday evening.

Jarrett also had five rebounds, an assist and a steal for the Lady Panthers (15-0). Ace Austin added 14 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and a steal. Olivia Law finished with eight points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal.

The two teams battled to an 8-8 tie at the end of the first quarter, but Spring Garden surged ahead at halftime 26-15. The Lady Panthers held a 42-22 edge after three quarters.

Spring Garden plays in the winners bracket on Monday at 8 p.m.
