A funeral service will be held at 1 pm (CST) Saturday, December 28th, at Salem Church. The family will be receiving friends Saturday, December 28th, from 12 pm (CST) until the hour of service. Bro. Jonathan Kendrick officiating.
Mrs. Braden is survived by her sons, Matthew (Megan) Braden, Jamie Cole; Granddaughter, Jenna Braden; Sisters, Sherry McFry, Yvonne (Terry) Williams, Terry (Ed) Henry; Brother, Bruce Hall; several nieces and nephews.
Ellen Braden, a beloved native of Rome, Georgia, and a cherished resident of Cherokee County, Alabama, lived a life marked by compassion, service, and love. A dedicated nurse, Ellen spent her career helping others, providing care and comfort to those in need, and exemplifying selflessness in all she did. Ellen had a profound love for travel, exploring new places and creating beautiful memories with friends and family. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her loved ones, especially her only granddaughter, Jenna, who was the light of her life. Ellen’s kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and service will remain a source of inspiration to those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Hall and Colleen Daniel Hall.
Pallbearers include Matthew Braden, Jamie Cole, Bruce Hall, and Tony Hall.
