Cucumbers Recalled Amid Salmonella Outbreak now linked to 100 People Getting Sick in More Than 24 States

The FDA said 100 people across 24 states were infected with the salmonella strain linked to the cucumber outbreak.

When the FDA said the outbreak had sickened 19 states. No deaths have been reported the FDA said.

Arizona company SunFed Produce recalled cucumbers sold October 12 through November 26 in more than two dozen states

including at some Walmart, Wegmans, and Albertsons stores. Costco and Kroger also recently notified customers they sold

some of the recalled cucumbers. The FDA said it continued working with retailers and distributer’s to determine if additional

recalls will be issued.
