In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Tyler McKnight, age 29 of Sand Rock, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on five previous charges.

Christopher Madden, age 57 of Guntersville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Sasha Hopkins, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Ronald Atkins, age 46 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Melissa Winslow, age 35 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
