SAND ROCK – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats improved to 10-2 on the season and 3-0 in Class 2A Area 13 basketball play with a 66-32 victory over Gaston on Friday.
Maddie Clanton led the Lady Wildcats with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Peyton Johnson tossed in 16 points. Hadlie Weaver had 12 points. Molly Grace Lay contributed 10 points, 10 assists and five steals. Macey Pruitt finished with four points and 11 rebounds.
Sand Rock hosts Coosa Christian on Monday.
