Woman Charged with Simple Battery against a Pregnant Female

A 30-year-old Cave Spring, Georgia woman has been arrested – following an altercation with a pregnant woman.  According to the arrest warrant, Jelissa Marshae Swain, struck the victim three times about the face and head – and she then slapped the woman’s phone out of her hand, causing it to shatter when it hit the floor.

The incident location was listed on reports as 3 Government Plaza which is the Floyd County Judicial building.

Swain is charged with 2nd Degree Criminal Damage to Property and also Simple Battery against a female who is pregnant.
