Boaz Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing – at the Western Sizzlin’ restaurant parking lot in Albertville. Terfils Juste Saint, age 38 – was the victim in Tuesday afternoon’s stabbing. Police found Saint DEAD when they responded to a report of someone being stabbed at 2:20pm in the lot that day.
A male suspect was seen running from the scene. After a brief foot chase, they detained the subject, who was later identified as a 25-year-old man.
He was transported to Marshall County Jail where he is awaiting charges.
Police said that the preliminary investigation, suggests that Saint and the suspect didn’t know each other – that this was an isolated incident – and, that there is no further threat to the public.
The case remains under investigation.
