In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

DUSTY ROGERS, age 38 of Centre, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and arrested on the charges of – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and with the Tampering with Evidence;

WENDY MEWBOURN, age 49 of Gadsden – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with Failure to Appear on the previous counts of – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – as well as the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JAMIE BALL, age 34 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Revoked Bond;

And

LAURA BICE, age 51 from Gaylesville – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (on two counts) and for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 114 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
