SAND ROCK — The Cherokee County Lady Warriors swept a volleyball tri-match at Sand Rock on Thursday. They defeated Sand Rock 25-18, 25-17, then went on to beat Glencoe 25-17, 25-16 to improve to 35-13.
In the win over sand Rock, Macy Lea delivered 21 assists, six digs, three kills, and an ace. Ava Haygood contributed seven kills, two assists and a dig. Ellisan Givens posted six digs and two assists. Nevaeh Gaidurgis collected five kills, six digs and an ace.
Jolie Alexander added four kills, a block and an ace. Raegan Garmany had six kills and a block. Lilly Shaw came away with four kills and a block. Libby Curry finished with four aces and a dig.
Against Glencoe, Lea accumulated 26 assists, three digs and three kills. Gaidurgis gained 13 kills and two digs. Givens gained eight digs and two assists. Jesslyn Hincy posted 10 digs and an ace.
Haygood collected six kills and nine digs. Curry came away with two aces. Alexander delivered three kills and a dig. Shaw earned six kills, an assist and three digs. Garmany finished with a kill and a dig.
Cherokee County hosts its Block Out Cancer Quad Match with Jacksonville, Westbrook Christian and Boaz on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
