HUGE Turnout for Annual Centre Fall Festival on Saturday [Photos]

The 48th Annual Centre Fall Festival on Saturday was – without a doubt – one of the largest in the city’s history.

That event drew record numbers to Cherokee County – with one and all having a great time with family members friends and new acquaintances looking to enjoy the day.

This year’s event featured a sea of vendors – with everything from Arts & Crafts, delicious down-home Foods including an array of mouth watering desserts also face painting, clothing, games, bounce houses, and the big kid’s Fun Run event, a petting zoo, train rides and an incredible parade, plus Disney characters (Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie) and much more!

The annual Parade was outstanding – the festival itself attracted Official Record Numbers with entries from far and wide including all of our area schools, many businesses, civic organizations and special groups, along with several law enforcement agencies and first responders, teams, and the list goes on and on!

That day also featured terrific live music – by the Hymen Family Gospel Group, Bent Creek Bluegrass Band, and this year’s Grand Marshal was singer Mia Matthews, with the group Worth the Wait, of The Voice and American Idol fame.
