In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

JOSEPH STEPHENS, age 44 of Rainbow City – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with, Attempting to Elude and Attempting to Elude an Officer, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Reckless Driving, Child Endangerment and also Resisting Arrest;

TRENTON THOMPSON age 23 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – was charged with Criminal Trespass/Remains in Dwelling;

And

JONATHAN MCCLURE age 32 of Adairsville, Georgia – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
