A camper fire has been reported – at 8900 County Road 41 – in Cherokee County at the “Broomtown Crossroads” on Tuesday morning.
Early reports indicate that all occupants of the camper managed to safely exit the vehicle. The call was made at around 6:25am – and area firefighters from several departments – Gaylesville, Cedar Bluff, and Broomtown – all very quickly responded to the scene. According to reports the camper already fully involved but it was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
Early reports indicated the fire may have been spreading toward nearby homes as well – but it also appears that blaze was quickly brought under control and contained.
