Mr. Lester L. Moten, age 63 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.
A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Sunday, September 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1PM until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Moten; son, Isaiah Moten; daughters, Ciara Moten and Kimberly Moten; step-son, Billy Woods; step-daughters, Earlina Woods, Celiste Woods and Precious Woods; brother, Edward Moten; sisters, Janet Moten and Roberta Green; 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady Moten, Donald Moten and Otis Moten; sister, Mary Chambliss.
Mr. Moten was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Thomas and Mildred Inez Moten. He was of the Baptist faith.
