In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JIMMIE SHEPARD, age 41 from Centre, was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of: Failure to Appear on a prior charge of the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree; also with Failure to Appear on the prior charge of Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree;

CHRISTOPHER DAWSON, 35, of a Piedmont address – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with – Burglary 3rd Degree – Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree – and Possession of Burglary Tools;

GARY CROFT, age 24 of Piedmont, was arrested by Centre Police, and was charged with Failure to Appear on an Insurance Violation and for having an Expired Tag as well;

And

JUSTIN MILLER, age 44 of Centre was arrested by Centre Police – charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 101 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
