This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

Friday through next Wednesday

Scattered thunderstorms are expected on Friday afternoon mainly along and north of Interstate 20.  A few of these storms could pose a threat for isolated damaging winds from 2 PM to 9 PM.

Numerous thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening across much of Central Alabama; some of these storms may be capable of producing damaging winds.

SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management – may become necessary Friday and Saturday.
