In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

ADAM MARONEY, age 48 of Attalla, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff‘s Office, on four counts of Failure to Appear on charges of Theft of Property 1st Degree; and with Failure to Appear on the previous charges of Attempted Theft of Property 1st Degree and Burglary 3rd Degree;

And

BILLY HUNTER – age 40 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
