In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

ANIBAL RAMIREZ, age 24 of Albertville, was arrested by Leesburg Police, and charged with DUI/Alcohol;

CARL HALL, age 47 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

LITHA SMITH CRAIG, age 57 from Summerville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (three counts), VPL/a Violation of the Prohibition Law; UPODP/Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

NATHAN MAYHALL, age 43 from Centre arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (three counts); Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and UPODP/the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

MATTHEW NEYMAN, age 38 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – was charged with – UPODP/Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – and also Retail Theft 2nd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 93 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
