One person was hurt, in a single-vehicle crash that took place in neighboring Etowah County early Sunday morning.
According to Alabama State Trooper reports the vehicle, a 1999 Jeep Cherokee left the roadway and wrecked, at around 5:10am – just off the Scenic Highway. The driver – listed as a male from Gadsden – was transported to a nearby medical facility to be checked out, afterwards.
That wreck remains under investigation by State Troopers.
