MS. Georgia Mae Wheeling, age 88 of Gaylesville passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Chris Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Steve Crisler, Michael Mobbs, Billy Mobbs, Tommy Mobbs, Brandon Parr, Adam Vaughn and Heath Crisler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Wynn, Gary Mobbs, L.C. Crane and Jaxon Parr.

She is survived by her son, Rickey Wheeling (Kathy); daughter, Cindy Miller; grandchildren, Jennifer Wall (Matt), Sandi Vaughn (Adam) and Courtney Parr (Brandon); great grandchildren, Madelyn Wall, Mason Wall, Jaxon Parr, Stetson Parr and Brady Parr; several special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Clifford Wheeling; son, Danny Wheeling; grandson, Todd Wheeling.

Ms. Wheeling was a native of Cherokee County and was the daughter of the late George Henry and Lola Mae Storey Mobbs.
