A Boaz woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marshall County, on Friday afternoon.
At around 1:00pm Macey Justice, age 24, was driving about 10 miles west of Albertville, on Welcome Home Road – according to a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
An Albertville Police Department Officer was apparently chasing her and the truck she was driving left the road, hit a drain pipe, and then struck a tree. Justice wasn’t wearing a seatbelt – and she was taken to Huntsville Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
