In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

LEONARD COVINGTON – age 68 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff‘s Office, on charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

BRITTANY CAVIN, age 38 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

JAMIE MILLER, age 55 from Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Revoked Bond;

CODY MCGEE, 34 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and with Failure to Appear on previous charges of:  the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

And

ADDEN MOBLEY, age 44 of Centre – was arrested by the Alabama Pardon and Parole Board on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree/Menacing and a Probation Violation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
