Mr. Harold Wayne Gossett, age 81 of Centre, AL; passed away June 21, 2024 at his residence.  The family will receive friends on Sunday June 23, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm at Perry Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be follow the visitation on Sunday at 2pm in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating.

Mr. Gossett was the son of the Late Frank and Emma McCloud Gossett.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Jean King Gossett; son, Robert Wayne (Misty) Gossett, grandchildren, Wade Gossett and Carley Gossett ; step sons Dale Lamar, Jr, and Edward (Cyndy) Lamar; step-daughters, Tammy Lamar and Shelby Lamar; as well as several step-grandchildren and also great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Gossett; and sister, Jane Davis.

Mr. Gossett was a Mason and was involved with the Centre Quarterback Club for many years.
