In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

TRAVONTA CANADY, age 32 of Gadsden arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

CODY HANEY, age 32 of Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

And

SHANNON BLAIR, age 46 from Temple, Georgia, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 99 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
