Mr.Clinton Leigh Hunter, age 67 of Centre, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center.
A Graveside Service will be held 3:30 PM Friday, May 31, 2024 Hebron of Key Cemetery, with Bro. Charles Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Friday at Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Marty Welchel, Dennis Welchel, Bailey Hunter, Jacob Hunter, Mikayla Welchel and Brad Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hunter; sons, Christopher Hunter and Joshua Hunter (Ryann); brother, Calvin Hunter (Dixie); 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hunter was a native of Cherokee County, and the son of the late C.H. and Marilyn Abernathy Hunter. He was of the Baptist faith.
