Kyle drives in five runs, leads Cedar Bluff softball past Valley Head

CEDAR BLUFF – Senior center fielder Za’Niya Kyle belted a pair of doubles, scored two runs and finished with five RBIs in leading the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers to a 10-4 senior night softball win over Valley Head on Thursday.

Rylie Walker and Kylie Vadon also had two hits apiece for the Lady Tigers. Walker scored three runs. Vadon walked, scored twice and drove in a run.

Kindal Grace came away with a hit and two RBIs. Kaylyn Vadon also added a hit. Ciana Smith contributed a walk, a run and a RBI. Anna Henderson and Anslee Evans both walked and scored a run. Mackenzie Kimmons walked. Blakelea Hall had a RBI.

Hall also picked up the win in the circle. She tossed four innings of four-hit ball, allowing no earned runs and no walks with a pair of strikeouts. Kimmons tossed the other three innings. She allowed just one hit, two walks and had a strikeout.
