Festivus Games is an annual event open to CrossFitters and fitness enthusiasts across the county and Weiss Lake CrossFit at Odyssey Fitness was chosen to be this year’s host.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th at 9am, but time to register is quickly running out; the registration deadline is THIS Saturday, April 13th.

Additionally, sponsors are still needed to donate items for competitor swag bags for the 63 teams currently signed up. The deadline for sponsor donations is April 19th.

Created in 2011, Festivus Games is a worldwide functional-fitness competition for “the rest of us,” beginner and intermediate level athletes. No athlete, whether six months in or brand new, will need to scale any of the events. Festivus Games is about capacity more than a high degree of skill.

It’s estimated that approximately 10,000 athletes all around the world will be competing simultaneously during the one-day event.

Weiss Lake CrossFit is located at 200 Plaza Drive in Centre (just behind Odyssey Fitness).
