In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:
JAMES TROTTER, age 53 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Domestic-Harassment-Family;
MICAH NASH, age 54 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Leesburg Police, and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance – and with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
KATHERINE HELMS, age 44 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Failure to Appear/Insurance Violations;
MARCUS METTS – 38 of Louisville, MS – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with – three counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and one count each of the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
EDWARD TRIPLETT, age 35 from Gulfport, MS, was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office members, charged with Tampering with Evidence, the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (three counts), and also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (two counts)
And
TREY CALDWELL, age 52 from Rockmart, GA, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Assault 3rd Degree.
Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
