In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

JOHN GREEN, age 70 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Sodomy 2nd Degree;

REBECCA NORWOOD, age 56 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

And

MICKY HALL, age 54 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree and Certain Persons Forbidden to Carry a Firearm.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 87 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
