PIEDMONT – Colton Proctor posted 21 points, including five 3-pointers, in leading the Piedmont Bulldogs to a 71-35 victory over Wellborn in the Class 3A, Area 11 boys basketball tournament on Saturday.
Taylon Swain tallied 12 points for the Bulldogs. Ben Dempsey delivered 10 points.

Piedmont hosts Weaver in the area championship game on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Weaver defeated Saks 62-50 in the other tournament semifinal on Saturday.
