TALLADEGA – The Gaylesville Lady Trojans squeaked by Alabama School for the Deaf in basketball action on Monday. The final was 39-37.
Gracie Dawson led the Lady Trojans with 17 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two assists. Emma Givens added 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. Ashlin Grace finished with five points.
Ka’Mora McCurdy topped ASD with 16 points. Aiyanna Fanning finished with 12 points.
Gaylesville travels to Jacksonville Christian on Thursday.
