“American Pickers” Coming to Fort Payne in February

The crew of “American Pickers” will be making a nearby trip to Ft. Payne Alabama – come the month of February, as they film brand new episodes that’ll feature individuals and their collections of relics, close by!

“American Pickers” plans to film several episodes of The History Channel as it films several episodes of the hit television series (one exploring the fascinating world of antique “picking”) throughout the area – during the month (of 2024).  The show follows pickers in the business as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.   According to a recent press release “…the pickers are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable characters and their collections,”!

Here’s where YOU come in.  The show is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasures so, if YOU or someone YOU KNOW has a unique item, and story to tell, and is ready to sell, the show would love to hear from you.

Please note – the Pickers do NOT pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anything open to the public – AND if you’ve ever watched the show you know that the pickers are most interested in what grandpa’s got in the old barn – or maybe – a repurposed chicken house.

Anyone interested is encouraged to send “American Pickers” their name, phone number, the location and also a description of the collection (with photos) to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call (646) 493-2184.
