According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County deputies and investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 75 on Wednesday morning.  The search warrant resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Deputies arrested Albert Cagle, 61 of Cedar Bluff, on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, first degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Cagle was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
